Waste Vegetable Oil Conversion Kit
Our goal for the Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO) sub-team is to engineer an efficient WVO conversion system. Main points of interest include decreasing
petrol-diesel fuel usage, increasing mpg and efficiency while running on WVO, designing for ergonomics, user friendliness, and clean emissions. Following highly intensive research on currently available WVO conversions and the associated modes of heat transfer, we will engineer the most advanced WVO system there is. Our intent is to design a system that has the ability to run on WVO within a minute of startup on petrol diesel. Furthermore, our final design shall be not only safe, but simple enough that an individual who knows absolutely nothing about WVO systems will be able to operate a vehicle converted
by VTBF.
