About Us
The Virginia Tech Bio-Fuels senior design team is a multi-facet organization whose focus is on environmentally friendly alternative fuels. We are a multidisciplinary team of students from Virginia Tech that have taken on a unique project focused on renewable fuels. Our team is composed mostly of mechanical engineers who are working on this project as their senior design project and are looking to graduate in May. We also have several other students from other areas of study that are willing to help us in their areas of knowledge. Our project is split into two main groups. The first of which is the design and build of a biodiesel processing system and the second is the installation of a waste vegetable conversion kit. |
